I was bit by a black spider 2 times. A few hours later I got really sick and for 3 days had to go the hospital for IV fluids and there was nothing they could do for me. I was also dealing with a rare case of vertigo called Mal de debarquement Syndrome. I felt like I was on a ship, constantly rocking back and forth. For the next 2 months was sick, weak and had no appetite and was getting scared because the doctors could do NOTHING FOR ME.
A friend said that she heard of a place called the Healing Rooms where they pray for your healing. I SAID…..WHAT HAVE I GOT TO LOSE? I went and 2 people prayed for me. That night I accepted Christ! It was very emotional and a beautiful prayer experience. As they prayed for me, I noticed that the effects of my vertigo started to reduce!
The person praying for me received insight that I had not fully grieved my dad’s death of 26 years ago. They encouraged me to come back for more prayer and explained that sometimes it is a process. So, over the next year I went for prayer almost every week. I have experienced emotional as well as physical healings and my life has changed in so many ways! GOD IS SO GOOD! I know that Jesus is my healer! He has brought me so much peace! As a result of my new faith, my husband recommitted his life to Christ!
