Felt the Presence of God in CHR and Healed of Many Conditions

Christina writes: First of all, thank you so much for your commitment to the Healing Rooms ministry. You are all SO loved and appreciated by me and I’m sure many others, not to mention your Heavenly Father! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My spirit was absolutely touched by the Spirit-led and Spirit-filled worship, praying, ministering and teaching going on at your church. I eventually saw a Healing Rooms ad in the church bulletin and it piqued my curiosity. I figured, “Hey, I may as well check it out. I could use a bit of healing.” I needed prayer because I was worn out from doing full-time ministry and I wanted to get replenished.

The first time I went to the Healing Rooms, I just sat in the sanctuary and listened to the beautiful worship music and singing, with intermittent tender praying. I didn’t even sign up to get personal prayer that night, because I got carried away in that atmosphere of worship. The Holy Spirit was VERY present and ministered to me in a powerful way.

The lady leading worship is truly anointed. She can sense what the Holy Spirit is doing in that place and changes songs, lyrics and prayers accordingly. I had never seen anything like it. That night, I received a vision of healing waters flowing through open hands and fingers and she stopped playing altogether to speak about that very vision. It was “crazy” in the best way – the kind of Holy Spirit action I had hungered to see, but had never seen before.

I came back the following week and basked in the worship after filling out a brief form and getting my assigned seat. That personal prayer time was powerful. I think I asked for refreshment and to be strengthened, because I was very weary at the time. I felt like I couldn’t go on in the ministry and I was beginning to question my commitment to the Christian walk. The wonderful people who prayed for me asked God for rejuvenation, but they also prayed about some other things that the Holy Spirit revealed to them during our talk. My response was awe along the lines of “Oh, Mighty and Awesome God! Surely, You are present and the Holy Spirit is at work in this place! Oh, My God.”

I think I went back every week for a month, maybe two, and then started going every now and again after that. I brought my dad with me once and his wife with me twice. They loved their experiences in the Healing Rooms as well.

Overall, the worship and prayer times at the Healing Rooms cemented in me a deep and personal sense of God’s love for me. I received deep within the core of my being the fact that He loves me so much, that He truly delights in me and that He enjoys spending time with me. I enjoyed what I will call “ministering visions” during those worship times that occurred before the prayer times. These times brought joy to my heart, tears of happiness to my eyes and a smile to my face. I also learned that it is His pleasure to heal me and show me His tender mercies. He really is good, gentle, kind, loving and compassionate, and I am thankful to know and understand the truth.

As for physical healing testimonies, I asked for prayer because my right elbow was “frozen“ per my physical therapist friend. I couldn’t straighten out my arm. When I reached the end of the range of possible motion, there was great pain, so I asked for healing. Again, there was a lot more than physical healing being ministered. The intercessors helped me pray through a ton of other things that the Holy Spirit had revealed during our time together. Anyway, I’m not exactly sure how long it took, but gradually my arm healed! The pain lessened over the weeks and I am happy to say that I can straighten it out now without any pain! It still has a little way to go before it is completely “unfrozen,” but this is all pretty amazing for not having gone through any physical therapy! Jesus is Lord.

I also asked for prayer that night because I found a lump in my breast in the fall. My doctor confirmed it and scheduled me for an ultrasound. Well, the prayers of the righteous availed much, because the ultrasound technician couldn’t find anything! It was as if the lump had disappeared, as if it never existed! Praise Jesus, Hallelujah!

In November and December, I injured my neck and lower back in separate incidents. This past week during a prayer time, I felt heat all over my neck. I took it as a sign that God was at work. During the worship and prayer time in the sanctuary of the Healing Rooms, God was at work via “ministering visions” again. He was healing my neck and back. In the prayer rooms, the intercessors prayed as if they had seen those visions! They all sensed that I was being healed. I felt heat on my neck again and my lower back felt loose. I don’t know how to thank the Lord except to tell these stories and praise His Holy name!

All of these experiences have me hungering for what you’ve got going on there. I want to learn how to move in the Holy Spirit and minister healing to people. I’m seriously thinking of joining you. Thanks again for what you’re doing. The Lord is truly working in, among and through you!!! But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. (Malachi 4:2) That is totally how I feel, so thank you, Jesus, and thank you Healing Rooms!
