Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:3
What words are you allowing to dominate your thoughts and your speech? God’s Word or the words of the world, flesh, or devil?
God’s Word is eternal; it will never pass away. As a believer in Christ, you are privileged to be able to abide in Jesus, God’s eternal Word, and have His Word abide in you. (John 15:7) The more His Word abides in you, the more you will experience the eternal heavenly realm of God’s Kingdom – His Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy – and be strengthened in the innermost part of your being by the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 14:17; Eph. 3:16-17)
And, the more you make God’s Word your own personal confession, the more you will experience the very Spirt and life of Jesus Himself having dominion over that which is temporal – that which is destined to bow its knee to the Lordship of Jesus Christ – in your life and the world around you. (1 Tim. 6:12; John 6:63; Phil: 2:10-11)
God says to you personally: my son, my daughter, “Give attention to My Words, incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22 As you follow God’s instructions, permitting HIs Word to enter the gateways of your heart – your eye gate and ear gate, your entire life will be revived by the very life of Jesus Himself.
So, make a quality decision today to fight the good fight of faith – to forsake that which is temporal – that which you can see and hear with your natural eyes and ears, so you can hold on to the eternal Word of God, which is the power of God for your salvation and the salvation of this world. (2 Cor. 4:8; Rom. 1:16)
