Where the Spirit Truly Moves

One of our prayer recipients writes: “As a lifelong Christian, I have only just in the past year begun to consciously experience the reality of Immanuel–that is, God’s personal and interactive presence with us–that we can hear him and see him even now, in our spirits. I grew up understanding the gifts of the Spirit more on a theoretical level, as welcome but not consciously experienced. But now by God’s grace, I’ve started experiencing the manifestations of his Spirit in and through and around me this past year.

As a real “baby” in a life by the Spirit, I am grateful for Camarillo Healing Rooms, as a place and ministry where we individually and collectively experience and expect to receive from the Lord, where the Spirit is given freedom and honor and truly moves. I am grateful for the encouragement I received through the CHR prayer ministry, both in continuing to bolster my faith in the beautiful and mysterious ways of God’s Spirit, and in my healing journey towards greater freedom and wholeness in Him.

As I waited for my prayer appointment in the soaking worship room, I had a picture arise in my spirit of very tall angels walking in front of me, carrying and handing off to each other what seemed to be various sorts of very solid and heavy-looking metal tools, of unknown shape and function. I’d never had such a picture before; but I was curious and grateful.

Later in my prayer session, as one of the ministers prayed prophetically over me, that the Lord was removing instruments of bondage, I was reminded in a flash of that picture I’d just seen, and made the connection: the Lord was communicating personally to me, both just before and during my prayer session, how He has been, and is also now, at work to bring me freedom. I am grateful for God’s grace and encouragement–indeed, He and His ministering angels are at work in the heavenly realms, bringing freedom!”
