For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20
Because of Jesus’ finished work of the cross, all of God’s promises are yes and Amen! When I was seeking healing years ago, so many church-going people told me that sometimes God’s answer is “yes” and sometimes it is “no.” But, their answer was not based on God’s Word, His promises. God’s Word declares “By His stripes you were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
Don’t settle for uncertainty! Don’t settle for the maybe! In Christ God has given you His “yes and Amen”! One of the most powerful weapons against uncertainty, is coming into agreement with God’s Word, His promises, through worship and prayer. (Acts 16:25-26)
Worship invites the presence and power of God into your life and circumstances. (Psalm 22:3) When I needed healing years ago, God gave me a dream in which I saw the word “Jehoshaphat” written in huge letters on a blackboard. When I looked up his name in the Bible and read through 2 Chronicles 20, I understood that God would defeat my enemy, the sickness, as I worshipped Him.
Prayer according to His will, His Word – His promises, gives you confidence to believe you have received what you have asked. (1 John 5:14-15, Mark 11:22-24) God defined hope for me like this: H – Hold, O – onto, P – Promises, E – Eternally. In the midst of contrary evidence, H.O.P.E and you will see His salvation!
At “An Evening of Worship and Healing” experience the power of agreement – the power of agreeing with all of God’s promises – His promises of healing, provision, protection, favor and victory – through worship and prayer. Come and glorify God with us, responding to all of His promises with “Yes” and “Amen”!
