Healed of Glaucoma

Marietta writes: I started to see a floater in my right eye. I made an appointment with a retina specialist.  He suspected glaucoma! He wanted me to see an ophthalmologist, so I made an appointment.  After the ophthalmologist ran further tests, he stated that I had glaucoma!  He said I would need to take medicated drops for the rest of my life. The side effects of these drops were they would change the color of my eyes and affect my voice.

I began to pray and fast and asked others to pray. At this time, my friend told me about the Camarillo Healing Rooms, which is about one hour from my home.  I went there and they laid hands on me claiming God’s Word for my healing.  They gave me a few brochures that had bible verses on healing.  They stated that my husband and I should claim God’s Word for healing every morning and evening.  As we did this, I began to understand how important it was to claim God’s Word as the truth for my healing. His Words says, “By His stripes we were healed.”

I went to a second ophthalmologist.  As I was doing the final tests, I believe God gave me a vision:  I kept seeing the blood of Jesus come down on my face like stripes.  The doctor said, “I am not convinced this is glaucoma.”  He released me without any medication and told me to come back in 6 months.  In 6 months she came back to the healing rooms, and not only was there no glaucoma, but her eyesight had improved.

From this, I have learned the power of standing on God’s Word, saying it out loud as a prayer to God.  God’s Word will never return void!  We are to press in with faith in God’s Word and in Him answering our prayers.  I thank the God and all the people who prayed.  I thank my husband for standing with me, praying and believing God’s Word for my healing.  I thank the Camarillo Healing Rooms for their wonderful ministry of standing on God’s Word for healing.
