Thank-you for your generous financial contributions to the Camarillo Healing Rooms!  Your giving has enabled us to continue to minister God’s healing love – His compassion, mercy, and grace – to many people in the United States and around the world through our in-person and online ministry.  Here is a glimpse of what your support has helped accomplish this past year. 

  2024 Year End Report

Number of CHR Ministry Sessions 

• 450 Healing Room individual ministry sessions of which 89 were first time visitors. These prayer sessions were approximately 30 – 40 minutes in length with some of our guests receiving 2 or more prayer sessions in one evening. No cost.
• 20 Sozo (Inner Healing) sessions. Each session is up to 2 hours.
• Visit “Schedule a Session” to make a healing prayer appointment.

Number of Prayer Team Ministers and Hours Served

• An average of 14-15 team members weekly served in our in-person and online ministry on the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th Tuesdays of the month.  During our ministry hours, these team members served about 3 hours weekly in different areas including the individual prayer sessions, worship, and administration.
• A total of about 1,525 hours of volunteer service occurred.  These hours do not include the hours of preparation and intercession that our team members engage in outside of our ministry time nor the hours served by the directors.

Administration Hours 

• The CHR directors, Ken and Sue Burdullis, spent many hours behind the scenes training and interacting with our CHR team members; communicating via our website, e-mails, and texts with our CHR guests and those interested in our ministry; and performing administrative duties.

Biblical Teaching

• Soul Shepherding (SS) This past year Ken and Sue completed several years of leadership training through the Soul Shepherding Institute, where they learned to go deeper with Jesus in emotional health and loving leadership.  Sue received her SS Spiritual Direction Certificate after finishing all the online classes, and the reading and writing assignments. 

• Team Training – On the first Tuesdays, Ken and Sue led our team in discussing the book “Your Best Life in Jesus’ Easy Yoke” by Bill Gaultiere, one of the founders of Soul Shepherding. The biblical teachings from this book are helping our team to better understand and pray for our prayer guests, as well as helping them in their own personal journeys with our Lord.

• Watch or listen to “Teachings” on our website or on our Camarillo Healing Room YouTube channel.  If you need healing, I would strongly encourage you to watch or listen to our “Love of God Heals” series and download the detailed PDF notes that accompany each teaching.

• Online Bible Studies led by Laurel Baker – 21 people signed up for each of the following classes taught this past year:
  • “Psalm 23” by Ashley LeRoy Wilkerson.  6 sessions (7/10/24 to 8/21/24).  
  • “A Woman Overwhelmed” by Hayley DiMarco. 6 sessions (10/16 to 11/20/24). The next online Bible Study will be “Song of Songs.” It will begin January 23, 2025 for 19 weeks. Click here for more details. Click here to sign-up.

Worship

• Live Healing Worship from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM on the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesdays during our in-person Healing Room ministry 

• Evening of Worship and Healing (EWH) – Occurred on the 5^th Tuesdays this past year. Through worship and prayer many people receive a touch of God’s presence and power at EWH. 

Website 

• Our website is a vital part of our ministry.  Our resources – teachings, blogs, and prayers – along with our testimonies have given hope and healing to so many people.

What do you appreciate about the Camarillo Healing Rooms? Literally everything! From the moment I walked in, I felt accepted into a space of love, hope and faith. How have you been transformed? There are really no words that can justly describe my experience with this ministry…. Because of the love that the prayer team poured into my once broken heart, I have been renewed, strengthened and encouraged. • Miracle Testimony – From Liver Transplant List to God Miraculously Healing My Liver

In 2014 I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder known as dystonia… In 2019 I found Camarillo Healing Rooms (CHR)… I found the people of the Healing Rooms to be kind, compassionate and most of all full of faith and hope that only Jesus brings. 

And, in 2019 I became very sick and was hospitalized for a problem with my liver… During that stay in the hospital I was diagnosed with liver failure and I was being prepped for a liver transplant. I was told it was necessary and without it, my liver would give out within 5 years…

At home I began a new diet and a new way of life – living and praying for healing – agreeing with what God’s Word says about healing, something I had not really done before… And, I kept signing up and coming to CHR for prayer as often as possible. The CHR team faithfully lifted me up and really showed  me:  The Hope of healing in Jesus. The Truth of healing in Jesus. The Promise of healing in Jesus… I could go on and on telling of my wonderful journey of hope and healing! … My liver that was diagnosed to give out in 5 years was “unchanged”!  No signs of giving out as medically predicted occurred!
